Please read: Because I'm kinda tired of getting "white" Jesus complaints. I know he wasn't white, that he was from the Middle East. I created the version of Jesus that my grandparents would recognize and accept, since this was made for THEM for Easter. This was made in love...not to be historically accurate. It's funny that everyone who's criticized his skin color didn't also get riled up about his historically inaccurate clothes.
I drew a happy Jesus picture to send to my grandparents and family this Easter. I wasn't sure what to do with the hands; I wanted the nail-marks to show, but I didn't think my grandparents would appreciate gushing blood, y'know? ^_~ So I'm pretty happy with the half-healed welts.
I've disabled comments on this picture because I'm really tired of seeing "white Jesus" complaints from people who are just too good to read the explanation above before showing us all how smart they are to know about Jesus' skin color. Sorry to do this, because I've never disabled comments on anything before.
